Our Philosophy Initial Diagnosis To prevent dental disease, first we need a complete picture of your present oral health
in addition to your dental and medical history. Your initial examination will include an evaluation of past, present, and potential problems. X-rays and an examination of your oral tissues for decay and gum/bone disease
are used to identify hidden problems. An oral screening for cancer will be done as well. If a malocclusion (bad bite) or problems with your temporomandibular joints (TMJ) are present or developing, we may
also take diagnostic impressions. It is through the collection of this information that we can best design a treatment plan that is specific for your individual needs. Planning Treatment When your examination is complete, we will discuss our findings with you and make recommendations for treatment. We want you to know your treatment plan and the costs involved.
Also, we want you to help decide which path we should follow. Appointment Time Control We respect your time and make every effort to remain on schedule. We also try to complete
treatments in as few visits as possible. Referrals We can think of no greater compliment than being asked to care for one of your family members or
friends. We encourage and appreciate patient referrals. Infection Control--Protecting Your Health Your health is our main priority. We are concerned not only with protecting your
teeth but also with your general health as well. We follow the same protocol of infection control for you as we expect and demand for our families and for ourselves. We follow guidelines established by the
American Dental Association and the Center for Disease Control to guard against the transmission of infectious diseases. For more information on infection control, see our Frequently Asked Questions
